The Role
The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, compliance activities, monthly closing, and audit coordination. This is an ownership-heavy role for someone who can independently manage assigned responsibilities with robust accuracy and discipline,
while guiding the Junior Accounts Executive.
You will work closely with the Accounts Manager, taking end-to-end ownership of the accounting function's accuracy, timeliness and audit-readiness, while building the leadership skills to grow into bigger ownership as the company scales.
What You Will Own
1. Accounting Operations
• Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations
• Review accounting entries completed by the Junior Accounts Executive
• Handle complex accounting entries and adjustments
• Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of books of accounts, completed within defined timelines
• Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse and relevant teams for accounting requirements
• Ensure accounting records are complete and audit-ready
2. Reconciliations
• Manage bank, vendor and customer ledger reconciliations
• Handle Amazon, Shopify, marketplace, payment gateway and settlement reconciliation
