Job Summary

Salesforce - Lead Product Owner (PO) focuses strictly on maximizing the value of the digital platform. They eliminate project management overhead to focus entirely on product strategy, backlog ownership, and stakeholder alignment.

Role Definition: Provides day-to-day support to customers and field service staff in relation to product implementation, customization, questions, and problems.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy Roadmap
- Define Value: Own the long-term digital vision for the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Build Roadmaps: Create and maintain the platform feature roadmap.
- Analyse ROI: Prioritize features based on business value and user impact.
- Backlog Ownership Execution
- Write Requirements: Translate business needs into technical user stories.
- Groom Backlog: Prioritize, sequence, and maintain the product backlog daily.
- Define Acceptance: Set strict boundaries for when a feature is complete.
- Accept Deliverables: Validate and sign off on completed engineering work.

Push for out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities over custom code.
- Manage Tech Debt: Balance current feature requests with platform health and cleanup.
- Oversee Releases: Plan deployment cycles and coordinate technical feature
- Coordinates with product development engineers to track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions.
- Identifies, documents, and reports design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs. Gathers and consolidates feedback from customers and field staff.
- Coordinates with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage.
- Answers customer and field support questions; provides guidance and support for product integration and infrastructure issues.
