Responsible for leading and managing erection, alignment, and integration of hull structures and related mechanical systems during ship construction.

The role ensures timely execution of hull integration activities including fabrication department support for installation of main engines, propulsion systems, shafting, rudders, and associated equipment.

The position demands strong project execution capability, quality and safety compliance, coordination with cross-functional teams, and adherence to production schedules.

Oversee block erection and lifting/critical lifting operations and ensure protected execution

Prepare a P/E schedule based on the erection schedule.

Communicate with previous stages like sub-assembly, unit assembly, side shell assembly and bending to ensure the availability of the material as per schedule.

Estimate the man-hours required to meet the monthly production plan.

Additional certifications in Project Management, Welding/Quality standards (IACS, ASME/ANSI, AWS, API) preferred

Proven expertise in alignment, chock fastening, and hull outfitting operations.

Experience in commissioning, STW, and sea trials.
