About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst – Scrum with 8+ years of relevant experience to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Business Analysis, Agile/Scrum, requirement gathering, user story development, stakeholder management, technical documentation, APIs, SQL, and SDLC processes. The candidate will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, technically feasible, and successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed User Stories with explicit Acceptance Criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters during Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Work closely with Development, QA, Architecture, and business teams throughout the SDLC.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, Functional Specifications, Use Cases, Process Flows, and technical documentation.
- Conduct Gap Analysis and Impact Analysis for new requirements and system changes.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, walkthroughs, and UAT sessions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Analyze APIs, databases, integrations, and data flows to assess technical feasibility and dependencies.
- Support defect triage, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Manage and maintain requirements, user stories, and documentation in Jira and Confluence.
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and business sign-off.
- Ensure requirements are aligned with business objectives, technical standards,



and project timelines.

Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst.
- Strong expertise in Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong User Story writing and Acceptance Criteria definition.
- Experience preparing BRD, FRD, Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
- Strong Stakeholder Management and Communication skills.
- Experience with Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, and Agile ceremonies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience analyzing REST APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of Data Mapping and Data Flows.
- Understanding of UML, BPMN, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Experience coordinating UAT and business sign-off.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Gap Analysis, and Impact Analysis.
- Excellent technical and functional documentation skills.

Preferred Technical Skills
- Strong SQL query knowledge.
- REST API analysis/testing using Postman or Swagger.
- Working knowledge of JSON and XML.
- Understanding of Data Modeling.
- Basic understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud fundamentals.
- Experience working on System Integration projects.
- Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar process-mapping tools.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to interpret technical architecture, integrations, and data flows.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant Business Analysis experience.
- Proven experience working with technical teams and enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have
- CSM / PSM certification.
- CBAP / CCBA certification.
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, or FinTech domains.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, APIs, Cloud Platforms, and Integration Architecture
