Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tech Lead (Fullstack – Node + Angular) role based in Gurgaon.

The Tech

Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable fullstack applications using Node.js on the backend and Angular on the frontend. Day-to-day activities include leading a team of engineers, reviewing code, defining technical standards, and collaborating with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. The role involves architecting services and APIs, optimizing application performance, ensuring security and reliability, and managing deployments and integrations within Skeps’ POS financing ecosystem.

Lead will also mentor team members, drive best practices in software development, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and system architecture.

Qualifications

- Strong fullstack development skills with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular or similar modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable backend architectures.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, responsive UI development, and front-end performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, testing frameworks, and code quality practices.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration abilities, and communication skills in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or POS financing systems is a plus; familiarity with security, compliance, and high-availability systems is beneficial.
