Guru Kashi University is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Technician for the Department of Hotel Management. The candidate will support faculty members in conducting practical classes, maintain hospitality laboratories, ensure hygiene and safety standards, and provide technical assistance for smooth laboratory operations.

Minimum Qualification

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management or a relevant discipline is mandatory. Candidates with hands-on laboratory or hospitality industry experience will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare hospitality laboratories for practical sessions in Food Production, Bakery, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food Beverage Service.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, utensils, and practical training facilities.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are followed in all laboratory areas.
- Assist faculty members during practical classes, demonstrations, and examinations.




- Maintain inventory records of laboratory equipment, consumables, and supplies.
- Coordinate procurement, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and support to students during practical sessions.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food materials, chemicals, and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain laboratory documentation, stock registers, and maintenance records.
- Perform laboratory and administrative responsibilities assigned by the department and university from time to time.
- Support the overall functioning and development of the Hotel Management laboratories.
