Role Description The Team Lead – Japanese (N1/N2 Certified) is a Full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing Japanese language programs and guiding instructors and learners. This includes planning lesson structures, coordinating class schedules, and ensuring teaching quality aligns with TLS standards.

The Team

Lead supports instructors with curriculum implementation, provides feedback on teaching methods, and monitors learner progress through assessments and reviews. The role also involves resolving learner queries, maintaining transparent communication with the academic coordination team, and contributing to continuous improvement of course materials and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

- Advanced Japanese language proficiency with JLPT N1 or N2 certification and strong command of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Experience in language teaching, academic coordination,



or team leadership in an educational or training environment.
- Skills in lesson planning, curriculum support, and learner assessment to ensure effective delivery of online language programs.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to guide instructors and support diverse learner groups.
- Comfort with remote work, online teaching platforms, and basic digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience in language training).
- Ability to work independently, manage part-time hours responsibly, and maintain a learner-centered, inclusive approach.
