Role & respon
- Handle and monitor all civil, criminal, consumer, labour, and cooperative society-related litigation on behalf of the organization
- Liaise with external advocates/law firms; brief them on case facts and strategy
- Draft, vet, and review plaints, written statements, replies, affidavits, and legal notices
- Represent the organization before courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial bodies (e.g., Cooperative Tribunal, Consumer Forum, Labour Court), and regulatory authorities as required
- Maintain a case tracker with hearing dates, status updates, and next steps
- Ensure timely filing of documents and compliance with court/tribunal directions and responsibilities
