Role Description This is an on-site internship role based in the Greater Kolkata Area for a Startup Ecosystem and Partnerships Intern. The intern will support relationship-building with startups, corporate partners, investors, and ecosystem enablers, helping to identify collaboration opportunities and maintain partner databases. Daily tasks may include researching emerging startups and ecosystem trends, preparing outreach materials, and assisting in the coordination of events, meetups, and cohort activities.

The intern will contribute to tracking partnership performance, preparing reports and presentations,



and supporting communication between IA hubs and key stakeholders. This role offers hands-on exposure to the startup ecosystem, with opportunities to learn from mentors, founders, and the IA team.

Qualifications

- Ability to conduct structured research on startups, industries, and ecosystem trends, and synthesize findings into clear insights and reports.
- Strong communication skills for professional outreach, relationship management, and preparing presentations or partnership collateral.
- Organizational and coordination skills to assist with events, meetings, and cohort activities, managing schedules and follow-ups effectively.
- Interest in startups, venture capital, and innovation, with a willingness to learn about accelerator programs and ecosystem-building.
- Comfort working with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Excel/Sheets, presentation software, CRM or databases) and handling basic data tracking.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and take initiative in a quick-paced environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, economics, engineering, or related fields; prior exposure to startup or community-building activities is an advantage.
