Role Description The Senior Admissions Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon, responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, conducting counselling sessions, and advising applicants and families on programs, eligibility, and career pathways. The role involves managing leads, following up with prospective learners, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems and CRM tools.

The counsellor will participate in in-person events such as open houses, info sessions, and education fairs,



as well as coordinate with academic and marketing teams to ensure a smooth application and enrollment process. The position requires consistent on-campus presence, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and meeting defined admissions and conversion targets while maintaining a professional, supportive applicant experience.

Qualifications

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills to engage prospective learners and their families effectively.
- Experience in admissions, student recruitment, or education sales, preferably within higher education or qualified programs.
- Ability to manage CRM or admissions software, maintain detailed records, and work with data to track leads and conversion metrics.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries, follow-ups, events, and deadlines efficiently.
- Comfort with presenting in group settings, conducting information sessions, and representing the institution at events.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, communications, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Knowledge of technology and business education trends, and interest in fields such as AI, fintech, or data science is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon with flexibility for occasional extended hours during peak admissions periods.
