About The Role The Actimize SME role at TCS is a specialized position focused on providing expert-level support and functional guidance on Actimize applications within the Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection, and Compliance domains. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, bridging technical and business requirements, and ensuring the effective implementation and operation of Actimize modules. This role involves engaging with clients to gather requirements, analyzing existing workflows, and providing strategic solutions to optimize financial crime prevention processes.

It requires a comprehensive understanding of Actimize platform modules, transaction monitoring, alert management, and case workflows.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial crime compliance, AML, fraud detection, or related fields. A strong technical background with hands-on experience in Actimize modules is essential.

Certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are highly desirable.



The candidate should have a deep understanding of core modules including Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM), Watch List Filtering (WLF), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Integrated Fraud Management (IFM). Familiarity with Actimize tools like Visual Modeler, Risk-Case Manager Designer (RCM), and Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS) is required.

A solid grasp of AML regulations, BSA, OFAC sanctions, and financial crime compliance frameworks is also necessary. Excellent communication skills, customer engagement experience, and the ability to understand complex workflows are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on Actimize applications within AML, Fraud Detection, and Compliance domains.
- Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify areas for optimization and automation.
- Deep dive into core modules such as SAM, RCM, SAR, CDD/KYC, WLF, and UDM to provide functional support and enhancements.
- Design and develop solutions within Actimize platform, including configuring modules and creating regression test suites to validate end-to-end data flow across upstream and downstream systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.




- Assist in the development of testing strategies and scripts to ensure system robustness and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated with evolving AML regulations, sanctions, and best practices, ensuring solutions are aligned with current compliance requirements.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and training sessions to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on platform capabilities and potential enhancements.
