Position: Senior Software Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $50 - $100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

- Contribute expert-level code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights in multiple programming languages.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement robust recent features ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Refactor and optimize legacy code for improved clarity and efficiency.
- Document technical reasoning and solution approaches to enhance AI training data quality.
- Review and validate peer-contributed code for accuracy and clarity.

Requirements

- Significant hands-on expertise in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Proven ability to debug complex systems and deliver effective optimizations.
- Experience with large codebase refactoring and legacy system modernization.
- Track record of delivering high-impact features within cross-functional projects.
