Position Summary

We are looking for a highly creative and proactive Social Media & Content Manager to take ownership of our organisations presence across Instagram and LinkedIn.

Were looking for someone who doesnt just know how to post content, but someone with a creative mind, strong sense of storytelling, and an understanding of what makes people stop scrolling, engage, and share.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow our organisations Instagram and LinkedIn presence.
- Develop fresh, creative and engaging content ideas aligned with our organisations goals and audience.
- Create content calendars and plan campaigns for both platforms.
- Write compelling captions, posts, hooks and storytelling content.
- Develop creative concepts for Reels, carousels, graphics, short-form videos, stories and LinkedIn content.
- Identify trends, relevant conversations and new content formats that can increase visibility and engagement.
- Take ownership of increasing reach, engagement, followers and overall social media visibility.




- Understand platform analytics and use data to improve content strategy.
- Experiment with new ideas and formats rather than relying on repetitive content.
- Collaborate with the team to understand our work, achievements, events and stories and turn them into engaging content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.

What Were Looking For

- A genuinely creative mind with the ability to come up with original content ideas.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn and what works differently on each platform.
- Good understanding of social media trends, algorithms, audience behaviour and content strategy.
- Ability to create content that is compelling, relevant and shareable.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut or other content-creation/editing tools is preferred.
- Ability to look at analytics and understand what is working and what needs to change.
- A proactive person who brings ideas to the table rather than waiting for instructions.
- Previous experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation or communications is preferred.
