Role Description The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts at the Caterspoint outlet in Bengaluru. This full-time, on-site role includes managing staff schedules, coordinating food preparation and service, and ensuring consistent product quality and hygiene standards.

The Shift

Manager monitors customer service, resolves guest concerns, and maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This role also involves tracking inventory levels, supporting order management, and communicating with management about operational issues, performance, and improvement opportunities.

Manager is expected to lead by example, support training of team members, and help maintain a positive, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

- Experience in shift supervision or team leadership in food service, hospitality, or retail operations.
- Strong skills in staff coordination, task delegation, and on-the-floor problem solving.
- Ability to manage customer interactions professionally and maintain high service standards.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and quality control processes.
- Comfort with handling cash, basic POS systems, and easy inventory tracking.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with diverse team members.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle peak periods and multiple priorities.
- Prior experience in a quick-service restaurant or café environment is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a hospitality or management-related qualification is a plus.
