Role Description

Main Purpose of the Job:

Design and engineering of an integrated steel plant covering the following:
Conceptualization
Basic Engineering
Detailed Engineering
Design & Engineering – Monitoring & Control
Documentation and record maintenance of engineering deliverables & reference documents.

Key Accountabilities

Explicit understanding of Civil / Structural/Architectural engineering standards, practices, design criteria, calculations etc.
Delivery of structural design and detail drawing as per project time frame & standard.
Preparation of technical specifications
Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other inter-departments for design & engineering
Assistance in Value Engineering




Participate in 3D model reviews of respective areas to check and comment 3D models.
Conceptualization, Basic & detail engineering
Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other departments (D&E;, P&C;, BU, CP) for completion of deliverables ensuring first time right.
Value engineering, implementation of best practices, fit for purpose design meeting the standard/ norms requirements.
Capture and implementation of learnings.

Other Details

Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)/Equivalent in any Civil Engineering
