About the Role

We are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager or Assisstant General Manager. The role focuses on delivery excellence, profitability, resource optimization, client satisfaction, compliance, and strategic growth of steel detailing operations for US projects based on AISC and relevant industry standards.

The position requires someone who has Steel detailing background with knowledge of AISC, OSHA, AWS, SJI, RCSC Standards. Organizing Project tasks, communication, plan and coordinate projects, take on administrative duties and independently manage some of the necessary elements to ensure projects are completed on time.

Key Deliverables:

- Ensure profitable and predictable delivery of all projects executed from the branch.
- Drive operational excellence, scalability, and quality compliance.
- Own branch performance, including revenue, cost, utilization, and employee engagement.
- Act as the senior operational escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Plan, Develop and Execute the Project with strategical approach.
- Lead/Manage the Project Team
- Monitor Project Progress and Set Deadlines
- Solve Issues that arise.
- Budget Management
- Resource Planning & Analysis
- Ensure Stakeholder satisfaction.
- Evaluate Project Performance
- Should have good knowledge / experience in Tekla/SDS2 software.
- Coordinate with APM and Project team to execute the project with zero errors and timely submission.
- Risk Management
- Disaster Management (Business Continuity Planning (BCP) - Management)
- Documentation




- Handle 101s with the Team members & Regular Team Meetings
- Handle Appraisals/Discussions with the Team members.
- Training Need Analysis / Training facilitation to the Project team (To be assisted by APM)

Qualification:

- B.E / B. Tech / Diploma (Civil or Mechanical) from a reputed university

Experience: Overall, 15 to 20+ years of experience and worked on Steel Detailing US Projects based on AISC

Standards.

- Of which Minimum 5-10 years of experience as Project Manager or Equivalent role as per Market standards in the relevant field (Steel Detailing US Projects based AISC Standards)

- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc), AutoCAD, drafting standards and practices.

Certification if any

- Steel Detailing relevant Certifications would be an added advantage.
- Project Management Professional Certification would be an added advantage.
- Six Sigma Certification Any level would be an added advantage.
