Job Summary

The candidate should have the experience:

- Handling of Accounts of Corporate House with multiple entities.
- Finalization of Accounts at monthly / quarterly and yearly intervals.
- Good inter-personal skills and able to co-ordinate with various departments in getting the accounts audited.
- Responsible for actively leading the month-end closing and finalization of statutory accounts, driving the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Have valuable understanding of IFRS, IND-AS, I-GAAP and US-GAAP)

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Statement Preparation: Finalize the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L;) statement, and Cash Flow statement.
- Month-End Closing: Supervise month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting.
- Ledger Scrutiny: Conduct deep-dive reviews of general ledgers to ensure data integrity and classification.
- Provisions & Accruals: Review and finalize journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules.
- Compliance: Ensure financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP) and tax laws.
- Budgeting: Lead the annual operating budget process across multiple business units.
- Variance Analysis:



Compare actual performance against budgets, identifying root causes of variances.
- Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management information systems (MIS) reports and executive dashboards
- Automation: Streamline data flows between ERP systems (e.g., SAP, etc) and FP&A; tools to accelerate closing cycles.

Key Skills Required

- Accounting: Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and consolidation.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Software: Proficiency with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, etc).
- Modelling: Advanced Excel skills (macros, complex formulas, structured financial modelling).
- Communication: Ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

Desired Work Experience and Qualification:

- CA with 5–7 years of post-qualification experience preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or large corporates.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, auditing standards, corporate governance, and risk management practices.
