Role Description
We are seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Director of Operations to lead end-to-end factory operations. This role will be responsible for driving production efficiency, building robust operational systems, and ensuring consistent delivery in a high-mix, variable-volume manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management
Lead daily plant operations including production planning, scheduling, and execution
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
Manage production across varying order volumes (200–5000 pcs per SKU)
Drive improvements in throughput, yield, and overall efficiency
Planning & Inventory Control
Establish and manage structured production planning systems




Maintain optimal levels of raw materials (RM), work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods (FG)
Align production plans with demand and sales requirements
Cost & Performance Management
Monitor and control operational costs including labor, energy, and material usage
Track and improve key metrics such as cost per unit, rejection rates, and cycle time
Identify and execute cost optimization initiatives
Quality & Process Excellence
Ensure adherence to defined quality standards and customer specifications
Reduce defects, rework, and process variability
Implement continuous improvement practices across operations
Supply Chain Coordination
Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely availability of raw materials
Manage supplier performance and mitigate supply risks
Systems & Reporting
Develop and implement MIS, dashboards, and reporting structures
Build data-driven decision-making process
