Role Description:

This is a full-time in office Senior Associate role located in Chennai. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in drafting, vetting legal documents and conducting legal research. You will also appear and represent our Clients before Courts, Tribunals and appear before the Sub-Registrar Offices to assist in registration process.

You will be working closely with the Partners of the firm and attend meetings with clients to offer the effective and prompt legal services to our clients.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- LLB with 3-7 years of experience as a practicing lawyer. LLM degree would be a plus.
- Enrolled with a Bar Council
- Proficiency in English and Tamil preferred




- Solid foundation in civil and commercial law and litigation, with ability to independently handle dispute resolution matters.
- Excellent legal drafting and research skills, with a strong understanding of legal concepts and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience or strong interest in real estate law, including property documentation, due diligence, and transactional support.
- Exposure to intellectual property law, such as trademarks, copyrights, and related advisory or enforcement work.
- Experience in corporate advisory, including contract review, corporate compliance, and general business law support.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills, including analyzing case law and statutes and preparing pleadings, contracts, and opinions.
- Prior experience working in a law firm or litigation practice in Chennai or a similar jurisdiction.
