2. The Context / Purpose of the Job To manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, financial accounting, reconciliations, statutory compliance support, receivables, payables, month-end closing and MIS activities. The role will ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting transactions, proper maintenance of books of accounts, and effective coordination with internal teams, auditors, customers, vendors and statutory authorities.

Manage day-to-day accounting activities including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries and general ledger accounting.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of books of accounts.

Perform customer, vendor, bank and ledger-wise reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of differences.

Monitor accounts receivable and payable, outstanding balances and follow up with concerned teams for timely collection and settlement.

Review accounting entries and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable statutory requirements.

Support GST, TDS and other statutory compliances by providing accurate accounting data and reconciliations.

Coordinate with statutory, internal and tax auditors and provide required schedules, documents and explanations.

Prepare monthly MIS, financial schedules and management reports with appropriate analysis and observations.

Review ERP transactions and ensure accuracy of master data, accounting entries and supporting documents.

10

Identify accounting discrepancies, control gaps and process improvements and ensure timely corrective action.

4. Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Educational Qualifications: Graduate in Commerce / Finance. MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.

Relevant Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Accounts & Finance. Strong experience in accounting operations, general ledger, reconciliations, receivables, payables and month-end closing. Experience in a manufacturing / industrial organization will be preferred. Experience in handling audits and statutory compliance support.

Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial accounting. Good working knowledge of GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements. Hands-on experience in ERP systems, preferably ERPNext / SAP / Tally or similar ERP.



Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis. Knowledge of preparation and review of financial statements and management reports. Experience in bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.
