Job Summary

We are seeking a Safety Officer with a Civil Engineering background and experience in commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE standards, ensuring statutory compliance, conducting site inspections, and promoting a protected working setting throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements at commercial construction sites.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Monitor civil construction activities such as excavation, formwork, scaffolding, concreting, structural work, and work at height.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for workers and subcontractors.
Issue and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) for high-risk activities.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain safety standards across the site.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, contractors,



and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Monitor fire safety equipment, emergency preparedness, and first aid arrangements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Certification in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH is preferred.
Experience: 3–6 years as a Safety Officer in commercial building construction projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
