Key Responsibilities:
Daily Farm Operations
Supervise overall poultry farm activities (feeding, watering, lighting, ventilation).
Poultry Health & Biosecurity
Maintain strict biosecurity measures (disinfection, visitor control, sanitation).
Identify early signs of disease and report to veterinarian/manager.
Ensure vaccination schedules and medication are followed correctly.
Feed & Water Management
Monitor feed consumption and ensure proper feed distribution.
Check water quality and supply systems regularly.
Control feed wastage and maintain feed stock records.
Production Monitoring
Track egg production or broiler weight gain and growth performance.
Maintain production records and daily reports.
Ensure targets for FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio) and mortality are met.
Staff Supervision
Manage and supervise farm workers.
Assign daily tasks and ensure work completion.
Train workers on hygiene,



handling birds, and safety practices.
Equipment & Infrastructure
Monitor farm equipment (feeders, drinkers, fans, lighting systems).
Report and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
Ensure proper ventilation and temperature control.
Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly farm reports.
Record mortality, medication, feed usage, and production data.
Report issues to farm manager/owner regularly.
Ensure birds are managed as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor flock behavior, mortality, and health conditions daily.
