Job Summary

The Department Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and delivering excellent customer service within the Home Appliances, Consumer Electronics (CE), and Audio-Visual (AV) categories. This role ensures effective team management, inventory control, merchandising, and achievement of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Performance
Achieve and exceed departmental sales targets and KPIs.
Monitor sales trends and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
Drive upselling and cross-selling across appliances, CE, and AV categories.
Analyze competitor activity and market trends to stay competitive.

Team Management
Lead, train, and motivate sales associates to achieve performance goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching.
Create staff schedules to ensure optimal floor coverage.
Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture.

Customer Experience
Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met.




Handle customer escalations and resolve complaints effectively.
Guide customers with product knowledge and buying decisions.

Inventory & Stock Management
Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure product availability.
Coordinate with supply chain for timely replenishment.
Conduct regular stock audits and minimize shrinkage.
Manage product lifecycle including recent launches and clearance items.

Visual Merchandising
Ensure attractive and effective product displays.
Implement brand guidelines and promotional layouts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.

Operations & Compliance
Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
Maintain safety standards within the department.
Manage billing accuracy and documentation.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
