Job Title: IT Infrastructure Consultant (Linux)

Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)

Department: IT Infra

Employment Type: Full-Time (WFH)

Operation Hours: 8 Hours (Afternoon/Evening) – 5 days working (Sat & Sun – week off)

Position Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Consultant (Linux) handles assigned projects and technical initiatives efficiently and effectively. They must have robust technical expertise in Linux systems and related management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively deploy and maintain Linux infrastructure to ensure 24x7x365 up time.
Engineering of solutions for various projects and operational needs
Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
Manage, coordinate,



and implement software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the workplace
Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the setting
Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes

Qualifications:
B. E / B.Tech

Must have:
5 – 7 years’ experience in Linux administration and management
In-depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS etc.
Hands-on experience with databases on Linux
Hands-on experience with VMWare and understanding of virtualization concepts
Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP and SNMP
Expertise in working with automation tools such as Ansible, Salt etc.
Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Good learner and able to pick up recent technology quickly.

Good to have:
Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure such as Nutanix
Experience and familiarity with storage solutions.
Experience and familiarity with AWS.
