Senior Python Backend Developer

Experience: 8–10 years (10–12 years can also be considered)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to join a cloud-native engineering team building backend services and data processing capabilities on AWS. The role involves developing scalable Python services, working with ETL pipelines, and deploying applications in a Kubernetes setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python backend services and REST APIs.
Build and support ETL/data transformation workflows.
Deploy and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes.
Work with data stored in AWS services such as Amazon S3.
Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and technical discussions.




Collaborate with globally distributed Scrum teams.

Work Experience

Required Skills:
Solid Python backend development experience.
REST API development.
ETL concepts and data processing.
Kubernetes.
Docker.
Git.
Agile/Scrum.

Preferred Skills:
AWS (EKS, S3).
Exposure to machine learning/data processing pipelines.
Cloud-native application development.

Note: This is a backend development role. Candidates with primarily DevOps or infrastructure backgrounds are not suitable.
