Solid in-depth work experience of RDBMS concepts and writing complex TSQL queries and procs.
Positive Experience in handling large database tables.
Valuable understading of optimizing large complicated SQL statements.
Experience in deployment of code in various environments.
Must have worked in an ETL tool (SSIS or Azure Data Factory prefrred).
Knowledge of either of these skills is a big plus: PBI/SSRS/SSAS/Synapse.
Indepth understanding of indexes,Backups/Restore, Isolation levels,Database design.
Knowledge of security best practices and oversight of secure database coding.
Capable of troubleshooting complex database issues.
Familiar with tools like SQL Profiler/Third Part tools like RedGate.
Maintain SQL Coding standards.
Communication and organisation skills are keys for this position along with a problem-solution attitude.
Knowledge of Powershell is a plus.
