Backend Architect

We’re looking for a Backend Architect to build the foundational infrastructure for an

AI-powered multimodal learning platform for K12 students. You’ll design and implement scalable backend systems that support conversational AI, voice integration, gamification, community features, and real-time analytics.

Key Responsibilities
Develop APIs for content management, gamification (badges, leaderboards,

challenges), and peer competition
Implement voice (STT/TTS) and OCR service integrations
Build real-time dashboards and reporting systems for students, parents, and institutions
Design scalable database architecture for user data, content, analytics, and community features
Ensure data privacy, security,



and compliance with educational data standards
Optimize for performance under high concurrent users across web and mobile platforms

Required Skills
2+ years backend development experience (Node.js, Python, or Java)
Robust API design experience
Database expertise (PostgreSQL/MySQL + MongoDB/Redis)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Understanding of authentication, security, and data privacy best practices
Experience integrating third-party APIs and services
