We are looking for an accomplished Quality Head to lead and strengthen the organisation’s quality, patient-safety, accreditation, compliance, and continuous-improvement framework across the hospital.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on quality leader with strong exposure to large tertiary-care hospitals, excellent stakeholder-management skills, data-driven decision-making ability and the maturity to work closely with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in hospital-wide quality transformation, accreditation readiness, patient safety, clinical governance, audit management, process excellence and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership for the hospital-wide Quality Management System (QMS) and patient-safety initiatives.

Drive quality governance, clinical and non-clinical quality standards, risk management and continuous improvement.

Lead preparation, implementation and sustenance of NABH and other applicable healthcare accreditation standards.

Establish and monitor quality KPIs, dashboards, quality indicators, audit findings and corrective/preventive actions.

Conduct and oversee clinical, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, infection-control and operational quality audits.

Strengthen patient-safety systems, incident reporting, root-cause analysis and risk-mitigation processes.





Ensure effective implementation of SOPs, policies, protocols, documentation and compliance frameworks.

Work closely with Medical Administration, Nursing, Clinical Departments, Pharmacy, Infection Control, HR and Hospital Operations.

Lead quality committees, review quality trends and present actionable insights to senior management/leadership.

Build a culture of quality, accountability, evidence-based practices and continuous improvement across all levels.

Identify process gaps and lead Lean/Kaizen, process-improvement and efficiency initiatives wherever applicable.

Ensure readiness for accreditation assessments, surveillance audits and regulatory inspections.

Develop and mentor the Quality team and build solid quality champions across departments.

Benchmark hospital practices against national and international healthcare quality standards.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Quality Management / Public Health / Life Sciences / Nursing / Medical or allied healthcare discipline.

MBA/MHA/MPH or qualification in Healthcare Quality Management will be preferred.

Certification/training in NABH, ISO, Quality Management, Patient Safety, Lean Six Sigma or Healthcare Accreditation will be an added advantage.
