Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-orientated quality analyst with 2–4 years of experience in web and CMS testing, with robust hands-on expertise in WordPress.

The ideal candidate should have experience testing websites built with Elementor, Divi, ACF, Custom Post Types (CPTs), Gutenberg, custom themes, and custom WordPress functionality, along with hands-on experience in eCommerce website testing.

This role requires strong manual testing and regression testing fundamentals, practical experience using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT in day-to-day QA activities, and basic Playwright scripting skills.

The candidate should be enthusiastic about continuously learning, exploring, and applying AI, browser automation, and QA productivity tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Website &
- Functional Testing
- Perform end-to-end QA for WordPress websites, landing pages, full website builds, maintenance tasks, and feature enhancements.
- Test websites built using Elementor, Divi, ACF, CPTs, Gutenberg, custom themes, and custom-coded functionality.
- Validate frontend and WordPress admin/backend behavior, including forms, dynamic content, templates, custom fields, and integrations.
- Perform eCommerce website testing across platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, and BigCommerce.
- Test eCommerce flows including products, cart, checkout, payments, shipping, coupons, accounts,



and orders.
- Validate functionality, UI/UX accuracy, responsiveness, stability, and alignment with client requirements.
- Testing &
- Execution
- Execute smoke, functional, integration, regression, re-testing, UAT, exploratory, and ad hoc testing based on project requirements.
- Apply strong regression testing practices to identify impact areas and ensure existing functionality remains stable after changes.
- Understand client requirements and use cases and convert them into effective test scenarios and adequate test coverage.
- Identify, document, track, retest, and verify defects throughout the complete bug life cycle.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.
- AI-Assisted QA &
- Basic Automation
- Use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools for test-case generation, exploratory testing, defect analysis, test data creation, debugging, and improving QA coverage.
- Create, modify, and debug basic Playwright scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript with AI assistance.
- Understand and validate AI-generated automation code, including selectors, assertions, and test flows.
- Identify repetitive QA checks that can be converted into basic automated or semi-automated workflows.
- Actively explore and adopt new AI, browser automation, and QA productivity tools as part of day-to-day QA activities.
- Quality, Tools &
- Collaboration
- Demonstrate excellent bug-reporting skills, including clear bug titles, reproducible steps, environment details, screenshots/videos, severity, and priority.
- Use development and AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, VS Code,



and Antigravity for basic QA activities, script review, debugging, and test support.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack or similar platforms across Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.
- Use HTML, CSS, Chrome DevTools, browser console, and network tools to investigate frontend and functional issues.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, project managers, and other QA team members to support smooth and high-quality releases.

Required Qualifications

- 2–4 years of hands-on QA experience in web applications/websites, with strong WordPress experience.
- Hands-on experience testing WordPress websites built with Elementor, Divi, ACF, CPTs, and custom components.
- Experience in eCommerce website testing, with exposure to WooCommerce, Shopify, and/or BigCommerce.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, responsive, cross-browser, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Practical experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools in QA activities.
- Basic hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript, including creating or modifying scripts, selectors, and assertions.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Chrome DevTools, SDLC/STLC, bug life cycle, and QA best practices.
- Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
