About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. This pivotal role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on Python programming, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and technical excellence.

You will lead and mentor a team of developers, collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable solutions, and support the deployment and maintenance of our cutting-edge legal data platforms. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative, reliable, and high-performance software solutions to our diverse client base.

Qualifications To qualify for this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A proven track record of at least 5 years in Python development is essential, along with experience leading and mentoring development teams. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies,



and best practices in software engineering is required.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, and a deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure, and containerization using Docker. Knowledge of AI Large Language Models (LLMs), including API-driven models like OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source models like Llama and DeepSeek, is highly desirable. Strong skills in performance profiling, code optimization, and debugging are necessary, along with proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud services, and security compliance.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities The Associate Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing SDLC best practices across all projects, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to development workflows. Leading and mentoring at least three developers, you will provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating with stakeholders, including the Technical Lead and Manager, you will finalize design documents, wireframes, database schemas, and pseudocode to ensure alignment with project goals.

You will design and maintain scalable application architectures, including microservices, cloud infrastructure, and Docker deployments, ensuring systems are resilient and efficient. Optimizing code performance, security, and maintainability will be a key focus,



along with implementing best practices for high-quality software delivery. Conducting thorough code reviews and supporting DevSecOps practices will be essential in maintaining our standards.

Managing technical debt and executing performance optimizations will be part of your responsibilities to enhance application efficiency. You will also lead the development of proof-of-concept prototypes using open-source frameworks and tech stacks, facilitating rapid validation of innovative ideas. Ensuring production monitoring, scalability, and resource management will be crucial for maintaining high availability and performance of deployed applications.
