About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our talented team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of hands-on software development experience, particularly with Python, and possess a strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role involves leading and mentoring a team of developers, overseeing architectural design, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

The Associate Technical

Lead will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including technical leads and managers, to define project requirements, develop technical strategies, and execute proof-of-concept initiatives.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining microservices architectures, optimizing system performance,



and supporting deployment pipelines through CI/CD and DevSecOps practices. You will play a crucial role in managing technical debt, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring the stability and scalability of our applications in production environments. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. They should have a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading development teams and delivering enterprise-level applications. Deep expertise in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as Django and Flask are essential, along with experience designing microservices architectures and deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS.

Strong knowledge of AI Large Language Models (LLMs) and experience integrating API-driven models such as OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source models like DeepSeek and Llama, are highly desirable. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to optimize code performance, profile memory and execution bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions. Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices is required.

Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and leadership qualities are also essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

Oversee and enforce best practices throughout the SDLC, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to development workflows. Mentor and lead a team of three or more developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.



Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical leads and managers, to finalize design documents such as wireframes, database schemas, and pseudocode, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Design and maintain scalable application architectures, including microservices, cloud infrastructure, and containerized deployments using Docker. Optimize code for performance, security, and maintainability, ensuring high standards are met. Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and security compliance to facilitate smooth and secure deployment processes.

Manage technical debt proactively, executing performance and resource optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency. Lead the development and execution of time-bound proof-of-concept projects utilizing open-source frameworks and diverse technology stacks. Ensure robust production monitoring, scalability, and resource management for deployed applications, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
