Job Description:

Review existing policies SOPs and measures and update according to legislation & support the development of OHS policies and programs.

Ensure secure working condition in the workplace and report unsafe conditions to the concerned authority.

Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.

Maintain tidiness and positive housekeeping to prevent hazards at worksite.

Ensure compliance of SOPs for Permit system (Hot-Work, Working at Height, confined space entry, Excavation, Cold work Etc).

Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives

Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).

Ensure readiness of firefighting systems by periodic checking and testing the same on weekly basis.





Conduct periodical central safety meeting and record MOM.

Monitor the usages of personal protective equipment by the employees in the premises

Ensure implementation of Action Points within the set time frame

Monitor the first aid box in the premises for proper availability of medicines.

Conduct periodic mock-drills, prepare reports and implement action points

Prepare and maintain documents as well as records

Monitor operation and maintenance of Effluent treatment plant and effluent quality.

Initiate Preventive safety actions incl First aid and Emergency Procedures.
