Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) activities in compliance with pollution control norms.
Ensure proper treatment of industrial effluent, RO reject, and wastewater as per statutory requirements.
Monitor pH, COD, BOD, TDS, MLSS, and other ETP parameters.
Handle RO, MEE, ATFD, scrubber systems, and utility-related environmental operations.
Maintain logbooks, daily reports, and environmental documentation.
Coordinate with Production, QA, Safety, and Maintenance departments for smooth ETP operation.
Ensure compliance with TNPCB, CPCB, and environmental regulations.
Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.
Monitor chemical dosing, sludge handling, and waste disposal activities.
Ensure safety practices and housekeeping in the ETP area.





Required Skills
Knowledge of ETP/STP operations in Pharma/API industry.
Familiarity with pollution control systems and environmental compliance.
Understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
Positive troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Exposure to GMP and EHS practices preferred.

Qualification
B.Sc Chemistry / Environmental Science
Diploma / B.E. Chemical / Environmental Engineering
Any relevant environmental certification is an added advantage.

Chemical Manufacturing Industry

Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates should be willing to work in shifts if required.
Experience in regulated manufacturing plants preferred.
Positive communication and documentation skills
