Job Responsibilities
Responsible for design & development of chassis components like step holders, main stand, side stand, Fuel tank, trim parts like side covers, cowls etc.
Develop recent design concepts & its analytical / experimental evaluation
Address DFM/DFA/DFS aspects in design
Understand field & internal testing failure phenomenon, analyze & provide countermeasures
Create & evaluate 3D packages,



clearances with interfacing parts, conduct stack up analysis.
Check 2D drawings & incorporate GD&T; parameters
Conduct FE analysis & interpret results for design decisions
Co-ordination with CAE, Testing, materials, manufacturing, service, vendor teams
Suggest & execute VA/VE ideas

Technical/Functional requirement:
Basic design knowledge of two wheeler vehicle system parts.
Well versed with 3D modelling & drawing generation in UG-NX.
Knowledge of stress analysis viz., Ansys, Hypermesh tools.
Knowledge of CAD modelling, PLM tools. Hands on experience on UG-NX, Team center will be added advantage
Exposure to manufacturing process like forging, Aluminium PDC/GDC, Press & fabrication, etc.
