Job Description:

We have an opening for the post of Accountant for a reputed Company for their Navi Mumbai(Belapur) Office

Key Responsibilities:

GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B Filing:
Prepare and submit monthly GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B returns accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile sales and purchase data with financial records to ensure accuracy.
Address any discrepancies and rectify them promptly.

GSTR 9 Annual Return Filing:
Prepare and file the annual GSTR 9 return as per regulatory requirements.
Ensure all financial data is complete and accurate for the annual return.

TDS Filing:
Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable rates.
Prepare and submit TDS returns within the specified due dates.
Issue TDS certificates to vendors and stakeholders.

Income Tax Returns Filing:
Prepare and file income tax returns for the organization.
Keep up-to-date with changes in income tax laws and regulations.
Assist in tax planning to optimize the organization's tax liabilities.

Financial Record Maintenance:
Maintain accurate and organized financial records,



including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.

Compliance:
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
Assist in tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities, if required.

Financial Reporting:
Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights to the management team.
Prepare financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting and taxation, with a focus on GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9,
TDS, and Income Tax returns.
Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
