We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Analyst with 5–8 years of experience to support portfolio governance, operational reporting, project tracking, and business analytics. The role will be responsible for maintaining portfolio health, monitoring key performance metrics, ensuring process compliance, and providing actionable insights through dashboards and reports to support effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards and reports.
- Analyze portfolio performance, project health, resource utilization, and operational metrics.
- Track pipeline versus actuals and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare executive-ready reports and presentations for leadership reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Project Governance & SLA Management
- Monitor and track key delivery metrics including: Intake to Activation Time, Project Progress & Health, Key Project Milestones, Project Closure Compliance, Overall SLA adherence, and Aging Requests and Aging Projects
- Identify projects at risk and highlight delays, bottlenecks, and overdue actions.
- Track projects that are complete but pending formal closure and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain governance trackers, RAID logs, action trackers, and portfolio repositories.
Process Compliance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure adherence to defined governance processes, workflows, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform periodic reviews of portfolio data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and delivery performance.
- Support governance reviews by maintaining accurate and up-to-date portfolio metrics.
Business Insights & Reporting
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate regular operational insights and highlight key projects, risks, and achievements.
- Support monthly business reviews and QBRs by preparing accurate data, metrics, and performance summaries.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in PMO, Program Management, Portfolio Operations, Business Operations, or Business Analytics.
- Robust experience in portfolio reporting, governance, and operational analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing PMO dashboards and operational reporting.
- Ability to interpret data and provide actionable business insights.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership mindset with a focus on accuracy, process compliance, and continuous improvement.
