Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Manager to manage and supervise our day-to-day food processing operations.

The ideal candidate should have a background in Hotel Management/Hospitality /MBA in Marketing and practical experience in food processing, Namkeen, Snacks, bakery, FMCG, or a similar industry.

The candidate will be responsible for processing planning, manpower management, quality control, inventory coordination, wastage control, snacks safety, and achieving production targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise daily production activities according to business requirements and sales orders.
- Prepare daily and weekly production plans and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Manage and supervise production staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Ensure products are prepared according to approved recipes, SOPs, quality standards, and specifications.
- Monitor the complete production process from raw material preparation to finished product dispatch.
- Control raw material consumption, wastage, rejection, and processing losses.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Store teams to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Monitor product quality, taste, consistency, portion size, appearance, and overall standards.
- Ensure proper implementation of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, GMP, HACCP, 5S, and FSSAI requirements.
- Maintain production records, stock consumption records, wastage reports, and daily production reports.
- Monitor manpower productivity, attendance, shift planning, and work allocation.
- Train production staff regarding SOPs, hygiene, safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Ensure proper cleanliness and maintenance of production areas, equipment, machinery, and workstations.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.




- Work towards reducing production costs while maintaining product quality.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Store, Quality, Dispatch, and Management teams.
- Ensure timely production and dispatch of products as per business requirements.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost control.

Candidate Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food Technology, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing will be preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in food processing, operations, bakery, FMCG, or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of food production processes and quality standards.
- Good manpower handling and team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory, wastage, production planning, and cost control.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, GMP and 5S will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production workplace.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

What We Expect from You

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on manager who can take ownership of the complete production operation, effectively manage the production team, maintain consistent product quality, control wastage and costs, and ensure that production targets are achieved on time.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
