Role Description The Principal Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area, responsible for leading architectural vision and design across multiple projects. This role includes developing master plans, guiding concept and detailed designs, and ensuring alignment with safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.

The Principal

Architect will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external consultants, review drawings and documentation, and provide technical direction and design approvals. Day-to-day tasks involve overseeing design reviews, coordinating integration of architectural plans with structural and MEP systems, and resolving design issues during construction. The role also includes mentoring junior architects, supporting client presentations,



and contributing to project budgeting and scheduling from an architectural standpoint.

Qualifications

- 15+ Years of expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to lead concept development and detailed planning for residential and commercial projects.
- Experience with Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools, BIM platforms, and digital collaboration environments.
- Proven Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk management within the built workplace.
- Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or equivalent) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Experience in sustainable design, green building practices, or related certifications (e.g., LEED or equivalent) is an advantage.
