Summary: Owns media and PR agency relationships for the company's brands and clients. This is a dedicated, senior hire - not a side task for someone already in content or marketing - and needs existing industry contacts and the credibility to get press coverage and agency partnerships moving quickly.

Key Responsibilities





- Build and manage relationships with PR agencies, journalists, and media contacts relevant to the company's brands and client industries
- Secure press coverage, contributed articles, and media placements
- Evaluate and, where helpful, manage external PR agency engagements on behalf of specific brands/clients
- Coordinate with the Content Lead so press materials and pitches reflect brand voice and current priorities
- Track and report on media coverage and PR outcomes

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of overall professional experience, including 3-5 years specifically in public relations or media relations
- Demonstrated, existing relationships with PR agencies and/or media contacts
- Experience pitching press and managing agency relationships end-to-end, not just executing someone else's plan
- Comfortable working across multiple brand voices and industries at once
