Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
Prepare and verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), dispatch documents, and other records.
Supervise loading/unloading and ensure secure handling of goods.
Coordinate with transporters/logistics teams for timely dispatches.
Monitor and guide warehouse staff for efficient operations.
Optimize warehouse space utilization and maintain cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with safety and company SOPs.
Handle damaged goods and returns as per policy.
Update ERP/WMS system regularly with stock movement details.
Prepare MIS reports and share with management.
Coordinate with purchase, sales, and accounts team for smooth workflow.
Identify prospects for process improvement and cost optimization.
