Role Description This is a full time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Gurugram. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and test PLC programs and HMI interfaces for special purpose machines, assembly lines, conveyors, and customized automation solutions. Daily tasks include interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, configuring hardware, integrating sensors and actuators, and ensuring safe and reliable machine operation.

The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing PLC/HMI logic, supporting retrofit and commissioning activities at the facility and customer sites, and collaborating with design, electrical, and mechanical teams. The PLC Programmer will also document programs, maintain version control, and provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance personnel.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong PLC programming skills (e.g., ladder logic,



function block, structured text) and experience with major PLC platforms.
- Candidates should possess HMI/SCADA development skills, including screen design, alarm configuration, and data logging.
- Candidates should possess skills in industrial automation and control systems, including sensors, actuators, drives, conveyors, and safety circuits.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in reading and creating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams, along with basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Candidates should possess experience with machine integration, commissioning, and testing for special purpose machines, jigs, fixtures, and retrofitted systems.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose control issues and implement effective solutions.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and production teams.
- A diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field is preferred; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in industrial automation projects, assembly line integration, and data traceability or marking systems (e.g., laser engraving) is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, support occasional customer visits, and manage tasks independently within project timelines.
