Experience: 15–20 years, preferably 5+ years in a plant leadership role

Job Purpose To lead and manage the complete plant operations with responsibility for production, quality, maintenance, planning, manpower, cost control, safety, productivity and timely delivery, ensuring achievement of business and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Production & Operations

Manage day-to-day plant operations and production activities.

Achieve production targets as per customer requirements and production plans.

Improve productivity, machine utilization and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Reduce wastage, rejection, downtime and production losses.

Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.

- Flexible Packaging Process Management

Oversee processes such as film extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, pouch making/conversion and other relevant processes.

Ensure process parameters are controlled and standardized.

Drive continuous improvement in yield, quality and productivity.

- Planning & Delivery

Coordinate with PPC, Sales, Purchase and Stores for production planning.

Ensure timely completion and dispatch of customer orders.

Monitor production schedules and resolve bottlenecks.

- Quality Management

Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Work closely with QA/QC to reduce customer complaints, rejection and rework.

Implement corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain compliance with applicable quality-management systems and customer requirements.

- Maintenance





Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities.

Minimize machine breakdowns and unplanned downtime.

Monitor maintenance KPIs and spare-parts requirements.

- Cost Control

Control manufacturing costs and reduce material, manpower, energy and overhead costs.

Monitor scrap and wastage levels.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

- Manpower Management

Lead production, quality, maintenance, PPC, stores and other plant teams.

Set departmental targets and monitor performance.

Develop and train supervisors, engineers and operators.

Ensure proper manpower deployment and discipline.

- Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with EHS, fire safety and statutory requirements.

Promote a solid safety culture across the plant.

Conduct safety reviews, audits and corrective actions.

- MIS & Performance Monitoring

Prepare and review daily/monthly plant performance reports.

Machine downtime

On-time delivery

Labour productivity

Educational Qualification

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Chemical, Printing Technology or related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Flexible Packaging / Printed Packaging / Plastic Films / Laminates, particularly in Extrusion, Gravure/Flexo Printing, Lamination, Slitting and Pouch/Bag Making.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
