Role Description The Plant Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India, responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of plant equipment, machinery, utilities, and engineering systems.

The role involves monitoring plant performance, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. The Plant Engineer will work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and utility teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and maintain smooth plant operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring equipment and utility performance, identifying technical issues, conducting root cause analysis,



coordinating repairs and maintenance activities, maintaining engineering documentation, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with plant safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

- Engineering Graduate, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in plant engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing operations.
- Relevant experience in the maize processing, food processing, starch, or agro-processing industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of process plant machinery, utilities, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
- Knowledge of plant utilities such as boilers, compressors, pumps, cooling systems, and associated equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience in coordinating with production, maintenance, quality, utilities, and other plant functions.
- Ability to supervise engineering activities and coordinate effectively with technicians, contractors, and service providers.
- Good planning, documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Strong focus on plant safety, equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
