Roles and responsibilities -

Accounting operations : Directs the Accounting operations at the Plant and related remote locations which includes Financial analysis, recommending and implementing financial strategies to optimize the utilization of Manufacturing resources, designing, implementing and maintaining Standard Costing systems, the review of actual results versus established benchmarks commenting on significant variances, evaluation of data with reference to Business Unit/Plant/objectives and coordination of monthly financial closings.

Budgeting : Manages the Plant budgeting process to include forecasts, production plan, shipments, labor loads, cost reduction programs, capital investments, etc and presentation. Assesses and highlights financial risk associated with such business plan.

Cost Analysis :



Controls data base and ensures the integrity of the cost accounting systems, as well as the General Ledger which provides for the analysis and evaluation of cost data, cost estimates and cost reduction programs. Identifies financial benefits related to recent product requests and makes recommendations to management.

- Investigates, reviews and analyzes the accounting flow, controls and procedures highlighting problem areas and developing improvements. Develops and implements corrective action as required.
- Analyze make to order manufacturing costs and variances and communicate issues to operations managers.
