Role Description The Overseas Education Counselor will provide individualized counselling to students interested in pursuing higher education abroad, helping them understand options that align with their academic background, budget, and career aspirations. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves conducting detailed profile assessments, guiding students through course and country shortlisting, and explaining admission requirements, application timelines, and documentation. The counselor will liaise with universities and partner institutions, support students with application form filling, statement of purpose and documentation checks, and coordinate follow-ups until admission decisions are received.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Student Counseling skills,



with the ability to guide students across multiple countries and disciplines.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Career Counseling and Education-related knowledge to advise on academic pathways and long-term professional outcomes.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field; a master’s degree or specialized certification in counseling or career guidance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in overseas education consulting, university admissions, or similar student-facing roles is highly beneficial.
- Solid interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to build trust with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling applications, documentation, and follow-up processes.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, email, and office productivity software for managing student data and communication.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, including occasional extended hours during peak admission
