Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Oracle Cloud Lease Accounting role based in Bengaluru. The position involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle Cloud Lease Accounting modules to support accurate financial reporting and compliance. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, mapping them to Oracle Cloud functionalities, and collaborating with finance and IT teams to design and implement solutions.

The role also includes troubleshooting system issues, managing integrations with related Oracle applications, performing data validation, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. The individual will prepare functional documentation, participate in testing cycles, train end users, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

- Responsible for implementing Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting solutions to support ASC 842 / IFRS 16 compliance, lease lifecycle management, accounting automation, and reporting.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering and solution design for lease accounting processes.




- Configure Lease Accounting Cloud including:
- Lease Creation and Amendments
- Lease Activation and Termination
- Rent Escalations
- Variable Lease Payments
- Short-Term and Long-Term Lease Classification
- Subleases
- Configure lease accounting treatments including:
- Right-of-Use (ROU) Assets
- Lease Liability Calculations
- Amortization Schedules
- Interest Accruals
- Support migration of lease data from legacy systems and third-party lease applications.
- Design integrations with AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Prepare accounting and disclosure reports for compliance requirements.
- Conduct testing, reconciliation, training, and go-live support activities.
- Support audit requests and lease accounting governance processes.

Required Skills

- 4–8 years of Oracle Financials experience with at least 1–2 Lease Accounting implementations.
- Solid knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16.
- Experience with lease lifecycle management and lease accounting processes.
- Understanding of AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Subledger Accounting.
- Strong reconciliation, reporting, and compliance knowledge.
- Experience in Fusion data migration and FBDI uploads.
