About the Role

We need an operations leader to build a system that delivers on time and on quality every day, whether or not leadership is in the room. You will run the engine, systemise it so it no longer depends on any one person, and free leadership to focus on strategy and growth. You join as Senior Manager or AVP depending on experience, and rise on results, not tenure.

Responsibilities

- Build the operating system
- Document the SOPs, QC gates and playbooks that let production run without founders or sales present.
- Set clear decision rights and an escalation matrix so work never stalls waiting for a leader.
- Build a layered leadership bench (team leads, supervisors, shift leads) — no single point of failure.
- Run daily delivery
- Hit volume, turnaround (TAT) and SLA commitments consistently, shift after shift.
- Own throughput, capacity planning and quality; track it live on dashboards and act on risk early.
- Match capacity to demand through smart resourcing and shift planning.
- Master the AI + human production line
- Own the AI/human handoffs — what automation does, what editors and QC do, and where quality gates sit.
- Drive down defects and rework; feed failure patterns back to the AI/tech team to keep improving the models.
- Manage cost and time per image and video,



and improve efficiency as volume grows.
- Lead the team and serve customers
- Lead, coach and grow 200+ across the floor; build accountability, ownership and bench strength.
- Run a global, multi-shift operation across US, European and Asian time zones.
- Keep operations a trusted partner to sales, client servicing, quality and tech — never a bottleneck.

Qualifications

- Proven experience running operations and leading large teams (ideally 100+) in a fast-paced production, services, BPO or content environment.
- A track record of building systems and SOPs that let operations run independently — not just maintaining them.
- A startup or early-stage background where you built and scaled.
- Strong command of operational metrics, capacity planning, SLAs and quality systems.
- Big plus: managing an AI-augmented production line, and/or fashion, retail or e-commerce experience.

Required Skills

- A systems builder who makes themselves unnecessary for routine work — you document, delegate and design.
- Zero-to-one and decisive: you build structure from scratch and make the call rather than stall.
- Process- and data-driven — dashboards and evidence over gut feel.
- Comfortable leading an AI-augmented workforce, and a natural people leader who wins trust at every level.
- Resilient and calm under pressure, with a high bar even in ambiguity.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in a startup or early-stage environment.
- Background in fashion, retail, or e-commerce.
