About the Role International Education Olympiads (IEO) is looking for an experienced and creative Olympiad Book & Academic Content Developer to develop high-quality Olympiad preparation books and academic content for Grades 6–9.

This is not just a question-paper-setting role. The candidate will be responsible for developing academic content from concept to final practice material — including chapter planning, theory, examples, practice exercises, innovative questions, answer keys and examination content.

The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to transform concepts into creative, challenging and application-based Olympiad content that goes beyond conventional textbook questions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop complete Olympiad books for Grades 6–9 across relevant subjects.
- Plan and structure content chapter-wise, concept-wise and learning-objective-wise.
- Write clear, engaging and age-appropriate theory and concept explanations.
- Create relevant examples and practice exercises for each concept.
- Develop original, innovative and varied questions across multiple difficulty levels.




- Create application-based, analytical, logical reasoning and higher-order thinking (HOTS) questions.
- Ensure questions test conceptual understanding, reasoning and application, rather than simple textbook recall.
- Develop questions in different formats and patterns suitable for Olympiad examinations.
- Prepare answer keys and explanations wherever required.
- Review and proofread content for academic accuracy, grammar, clarity and consistency.
- Research current academic trends, competitive examination patterns and relevant concepts.
- Review and improve existing academic material based on feedback and evolving curriculum requirements.
- Contribute to the development of final Olympiad examination papers based on the content created.
- Collaborate with educators and subject experts to maintain high academic standards.

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, Science, English, Reasoning or other relevant school-level subjects.
- Ability to independently develop content from concept → theory → examples → practice → Olympiad-level questions.
- Strong understanding of how students learn and how concepts can be tested beyond textbook level.




- Excellent academic writing, research, editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to create creative, challenging, conceptual and application-oriented questions.
- Familiarity with Olympiad examinations, competitive assessments or academic enrichment programs is highly desirable.
- Experience in academic content development, curriculum planning, lesson structuring, assessment design or educational publishing.
- Prior experience as a teacher, academic writer, curriculum developer, question-paper setter or textbook/content developer for Grades 6–9 will be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area is preferred, or equivalent academic expertise.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple content projects within deadlines.
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the academic creativity and expertise to develop genuinely high-quality Olympiad-level content.
