About the Role:

Atria University's Centre of Excellence in Life Sciences is inviting applications for MS by Research and PhD candidates to join an interdisciplinary research ecosystem spanning AI × Synthetic Biology, Cancer Biology, Environmental Biotech (eDNA), Agri Biologicals, Molecular Biology & Genomics, Bioinformatics, Sustainable Agriculture, and Neuroscience & Proteostasis.

Candidates will work on original research problems, with guaranteed stipend support when assigned to a sprint delivery or engaged as a Project/Teaching Assistant.

What You'll Do

- Conduct independent and collaborative research within your chosen focus area
- Contribute to ongoing lab/sprint-based research delivery
- Support teaching or project assistantship responsibilities as assigned
- Publish and present research findings within the academic community





Requirements:

MS by Research

- 3- or 4-year Bachelor's in any area of biology, or with biology as one of the subjects; MSc (1- or 2-year) or MBBS — minimum 55% in the qualifying degree

PhD

- 4-year Bachelor's, MSc (1- or 2-year), or MBBS in any area of biology — minimum 55% in the qualifying degree

Compensation:
- MS by Research: ₹18,000/month stipend* | 2-year duration | Fees: ₹75,000 (Yr 1), ₹1,25,000 (Yr 2)
- PhD (Full-time/Part time): ₹38,000/month stipend* | 3–5 year duration | Fees: ₹50,000/year
- *Stipend guaranteed with a research or teaching assistantship
