The Role

We are looking for a sourcing enthusiast who can lead and manage multiple products and vendors irrespective of the material. You own everything that gets manufactured in hard goods, print, and packaging, from vendor to finished piece. You are not a coordinator. You are accountable for cost, quality, and timeline.

Responsibilities

Hard & Soft goods

- Lead and manage production for hard goods (in brass, wood, ceramic, leather material for home decor, barware, desk accessories) and soft goods (scarves, clutches, leather bags)
- Source and develop: samples with external vendors and look after the production & QC too.
- Complete vendor management ie. Plan, communicate & coordinate with vendors, negotiations, factory visits, manage & ensure timely deliveries on production. End-to-end sampling , finishing standards , production follow - through and current product procurement/ approval process.
- Constantly look for new products & vendors and maintain a database of existing vendors for sourcing of products at better price.

Print & packaging Support

- Rigid boxes, sleeves, inserts, cartons, printed collateral
- Offset, screen, foiling, embossing, UV, die-cutting
- Build and maintain vendor panels

Across

- Costing sheets - accurate, itemised,



submitted for approval
- Production timelines mapped backward from dispatch date
- Weekly production tracker - vendor, PO, rate, stage, ETA
- Physical vendor visits during production, not after
- Overview daily dispatches of packages .
- Maintain and manage the product inventory in the warehouse of the company.
- Should have extremely good problem solving skills.
- Open to travel across different cities for sourcing and quality checks.

Qualifications

- Must have 5+ years’ experience in in merchandising - home decor, hardgoods, desk accessories, giftware, or packaging
- Live vendor relationships in at least two hard goods clusters
- Costing done independently, not just quotes collected
- Comfort with production timelines under 30 days
- Working Excel/Google Sheets. You will maintain a tracker daily.

Requirements

- Should have their own vehicle for travelling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
